The lounge and bar downstairs IMPRESSED me. It's a MUST visit. The beds provided ultimate comfort. The room size matched my expectations perfectly. The staff's service proved professional, and they were all friendly.
The absence of an iron in the room proved slightly inconvenient.

The breakfast features good coffee, and it is served in a very comfortable area. This area is at the front of the hotel. There is also an excellent coffee shop a few doors down.

The room included lovely toiletries, a good shower. The rooms are clean and comfy. My room featured two large windows overlooking a quiet street. The hotel has a calming, understated design.

The staff are helpful and friendly. They provided advice on local dining and attractions. The hotel staff helped with all questions. They were attentive and lovely from arrival onwards. The staff speaks English.

The hotel sits near many local restaurants. It is away from the main tourist areas, but still close to museums. The hotel is just on the outskirts of the Marais. The location IS fantastic.

The spa access IS free. The spa is tiny, for just two people, but a joy after a day of museums. The downstairs lounge and bar is definitely worth a visit. Free spa access is a nice surprise.

The room was clean and it included toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities were available with complementary chocolates. The hotel is near many restaurants and metro lines. A Carrefour is also close by.
Access to my room involved stair climbing. There were heavy doors and curved stairs. The terrace was part of the bathroom, located on a higher level.
